This beautiful 1860 Cape Colonial residence has been renovated back to its old world charm. Lovely Oregan wooden floors and staircase, spacious and very clean. A great option for any merry traveller!
The lodge is newly refurbished and offers great shared accommodation coupled with excellent facilities for any traveller.

There are a total of 54 beds in the lodge PLUS Self-catering apartments (en-suite) from R 677-00 per apartment (sleeping 3)
24 hour secure off street parking in front of our entrance. Please note for those privileged to have a car, the fee is R30.00 a night to ensure the safety of your car.
On arrival
Check-in’s are quick, you sign in our register, pay for your room, get given a city map and shown around the lodge. Anytime you need information on any aspect of travel in Africa just ask for advice at the Travel Desk.
There is a Duvet and key deposit – REFUNDABLE – of R 200-00 at check-in. Check out time is 10am in the morning – if you stay any later YOU WILL BE BILLED for the next day.
We do NOT accept CREDIT CARDS but do have access to one – this will however cause an extra 5% bank charge on the use of the card.
Overview
Our lodge has the most fabulous views of Table Mountain and Lions Head. Our entertainment room is fitted out with DSTV (Sky equivalent), a pool table and darts. There is also a TV room where you can watch television or just hang out chatting to fellow travellers. Alternatively you may choose to relax by reading one of the many books in the library. For the more sociable travellers there is a bar for those who choose to interact amongst other fellow travellers.
Accomodation
All dormitories are spacious, clean and comfortable with linen supplied. A R 150-00 deposit is required for a lovely Duvet with a white linen cover There are metal security baskets under each bed to place your valuables in – all you need is a lock and reception can assist you with these. You are refunded your deposit when you hand in the Duvet on departure. NO TOWELS are supplied but you can hire these at Reception.
