Jacaranda Wine Estate is nestled at the foot of Groenberg Mountain in Wellington, in the Western Cape of South Africa. The name of the farm stems from the many Jacaranda trees which are growing around the Manor house and the vineyard.

After a busy life in Europe and Asia, we put down our roots in Wellington 10 years ago, where we finally founded Jacaranda, the wine farm we had always been looking for.

It was the journey of our lives and a remarkable experience to breathe new life into this place: replanting the vineyard, renovating the holiday cottages and the Manor House, and building a new cellar from scratch.

We introduced sustainable farming methods and are now rewarded with beautiful, natural and expressive wines.

China, where we lived and worked for almost 20 years will always hold a special place in our hearts, but when we started at Jacaranda we knew that we finally had arrived.
