DESCRIPTION:MULDERBOSCH\nWhen Larry Jacobs and Mike Dobrovic founded Mulderbosch in 1989\, they aimed high from the start. \nThe pair found a neglected old fruit farm in Stellenbosch. No one had grown vines there before. For almost a century\, the land had lain fallow. \nStill\, Larry and Mike saw potential. \nThey cleared the land\, restored the farm and planted vines. Their instincts proved right. Before long\, the property emerged as one of Stellenbosch’s most exciting wine-growing sites. \nToday\, Mulderbosch continues to look forward. \nEverything starts in the vineyard. The team nurtures healthy soils and strong vines. Careful farming builds balance\, resilience and long-term vineyard health. At the same time\, Mulderbosch protects the surrounding environment and encourages biodiversity. \nThe philosophy is simple: grow exceptional fruit and interfere as little as possible in the cellar. \nMulderbosch combines classic winemaking with modern thinking. \nAt harvest\, the team selects expressive fruit at optimal ripeness. Pure\, vibrant varietal flavours remain the focus. Gentle handling in the cellar allows each wine to develop its own character. \nTechnology also plays an important role. \nPrecision farming\, artificial intelligence\, machine learning and data give the team a deeper understanding of the vineyards. These tools support smarter decisions while helping to save water and energy. They also protect natural resources and strengthen biodiversity. \nSolar power runs the cellar. \nInside\, winemakers work with stainless-steel tanks and a wide range of wooden vessels. Small barriques sit alongside large foudres\, while new\, second-fill and older barrels offer further choice. \nThis flexibility allows the team to give each wine the treatment it deserves. \nThe result is fresh\, elegant and expressive wine. \nAll Mulderbosch wines are vegan-friendly and ready to enjoy when released.
